  • Privacy-First Browsers: These maintain a focus on user sovereignty. Brave continues to offer ad/tracker blocking with a crypto-based rewards model. DuckDuckGo has expanded its privacy suite to include generative AI features and enhanced scam-blocking technology. Ladybird stands out as a rare, ambitious project attempting to build an entirely new browser engine from scratch, independent of the Chromium project.
